Major Cineplex Shutting Down
Major Cineplex Cambodia has announced the closure of its operations in Cambodia, which includes four cinema complexes in Phnom Penh malls, one in Siem Reap, and one in Poipet. Reports of the shutdown sparked concerns among parents worried about losing key family-friendly spaces, including a dedicated kids' cinema hall. However, the company later clarified that the cinemas are now under local management and will continue to operate as normal.
