Build a NYE Countdown Clock

"Do you want to celebrate the new year with a fun and creative project? Join us for a workshop where you will learn how to build your own countdown clock with a micro:bit! You will use the micro:bit to display the remaining time until the new year, play sounds and animations and write your wish. No prior experience is required, just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm."

This is a STEM based activity which focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math. Some STEM activities involve one learning area, other times they include aspects of all four domains. The best STEM activities are open-ended and have a challenge or question for kids to investigate or solve.

This event is hosted at The Ground Market by 'Snoopedu Education' inside a temporary space amongst other regular food vendors and cafes that permanently reside at this Location. The Ground Market is an indoor / outdoor landscaped space with climbing frames, swings and high level walkways to explore for kids and parents.

Schedule:

• Sunday 30th December

• 10:00am - 12:00pm

OR

• 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Price:

$5 per child (FREE for all Snoopedu Students)

Note:

•  Recommended age of participants is 3yrs (minimum)

• Due to space limitations for parents who would like to engage in the activities together with their children, Snoopedu may have to limit this to only one parent per child.
