One of the city's most family-friendly parks, Coconut Park is a beautiful grassy park that attracts large crowds on weekends and holidays, and always has something going on.

The heart of the park is a grassy field that hosts events, concerts and a weekly night market. On any given day you'll find people here having a picnic, doing yoga, playing frisbee or flying a kite.

The park complex includes the CIS Rollerdome, a mountain bike course, Splash Pad water park and two outdoor playgrounds. The vegetation-covered building at the back of the park hosts a number of kid-friendly venues, including a painting and ceramics studio, a Lego building playroom and an open-air restaurant.

The park is a good place for a walk or jog in the early morning before it gets too hot. Pets on a leash are welcome.
