About
It's hard to categorize Maloop: Is it a private park with a restaurant, or a restaurant with a park? Whatever it is, it is warmly welcomed by parents in Phnom Penh, who are comparing it to the greatly missed Odom Park.
The heart of Maloop is a stylish outdoor cafe with tables spread out and hammocks to lounge in. There are gravel trails through the forested grounds, an overgrown pool filled with plants to discover, and a field big enough for kids to play tag or fly a kite. Pets on a leash are welcome.
The place gets busy on weekends and holidays so it's best to make a reservation. If the small restaurant is full, you can order at the bar and they'll bring the food to any of the seating areas.
There is no kids menu, but they do have high chairs for babies.
