About

Located 45 kilometers southwest of Phnom Penh in Takeo province, this lakeside day resort has picnic huts and walking trails. But the highlight (for kids at least) is its ever-expanding water park.

Seemingly built as an outdoor showroom for fiberglass and resin equipment supplier Theng Long, the water park is built around one large swimming pool and a series of interconnected splash pools. There are two sets of colorful slides, and a newly installed large undulating water slide.

Be warned, the water can be a bit murky, there is very little shade around the swimming pool (though parents can relax in the roofed shelters that overlook the pool deck). Life vests and inflatable floatation devices are free to use.

The water park rarely sees foreign visitors. Communication may be difficult for non-Khmer guests - but if you got this far you're probably able to handle yourself.

To reach the water park, travel south from Phnom Penh on National Road 3 to Tram Kna village and turn east on Road 126. It's about 500 meters to the turnoff to Nature Library, which is a dirt track on the left.
