The Open Studio is a drop-in small arts & crafts studio within an arts & crafts supply store that has an everchanging assortment of fun and crafty activities for kids.

There are dozens of projects to choose, including egg collages, fuse beads and jewelry making, with new ones added every week.

Kids can choose a project and create it with the tools and materials in the studio space. A few special projects have an extra cost or require additional materials that you can either purchase them from the store (at a discount) or bring from home.

A crafts instructor is on hand to provide guidance, but it is recommended that parents do the projects together with their children (it's a great bonding experience too). Older children can be left unsupervised while mom and dad enjoy a coffee in the attached cafe or run errands nearby.
