About

Covering 60 hectares and with plenty of greenery, this private zoo has an extensive collection of animals with nearly 100 different species on display.

Prepare for a lot of walking as the exhibits are spread out over a large area. Fortunately, you have the option of taking a miniature passenger train that slowly winds its way past most of the animal enclosures. It's a fun and relaxing way to see the park and figure out which animals your kids want to go back and see.

There are live animal shows throughout the day, with birds, tigers, elephants, crocodiles and orangutans taking the stage. Be forewarned, while many families enjoy the shows, most of the zoo's negative reviews focus on the treatment of animals forced to perform for crowds.

There are also stations where visitors can get up close and personal with the animals, including a small children's petting zoo, elephant rides and a giraffe-feeding station. And if running around the zoo isn't enough, there is a small outdoor playground for the kids at the north end of the park.

The entry ticket includes admission to the live animal shows. There are additional fees for optional items such as riding pedal boats on the lake, purchasing food to feed the animals, or posing with animals for photos.
