Long-time Cambodia residents remember when the list of quality international schools could be enumerated in a single breath. But in the past decade a bevy of new international schools have opened, and existing ones have beefed up their facilities and curriculum, so that today parents have options to weigh.

CamboKidz recently surveyed the Phnom Penh private education landscape, reviewing school brochures, speaking with parents of school-age children, and – as much as possible – visiting the campuses of international schools throughout the city. Here we present our shortlist of schools that impressed us most.
